Being a member of the Catenians is a great way to meet socially with a great bunch of people drawn from many Catholic parishes in the area and to establish friendships; it is an enjoyable way to maintain interests and develop new ones. There is also a charitable aspect to our social activities as we make donations to charities though the events we run. We are very family-oriented and encourage members of our families to come along to events that we organise - just take a look at our Events page.

Here in the West Surrey Circle we meet formally once a month for a short meeting and meal afterwards in very pleasant surroundings at the Hogs Back Hotel. There are about 30 of us from a wide variety of careers and having diverse interests. In between meetings, we organise family-oriented events and get togethers, e.g. trips to visit places of interest both locally and further afield, occasionally overseas; we have skittles nights, theatre visits, weekday lunches for those who have the time, barbeques in the summer etc.

Membership is open to all practising Catholic laymen, and permanent Deacons, of 18 years and over. If you are interested in joining us then please contact me using the form on this page with your contact details, there would be absolutely no pressure to join and I would love to hear from you.

After we have had a chat and if you feel you would like to come along to one of our meetings to get a feel for what we do before you make any decision to join, then we offer a free meal on the first visit, you would be most welcome.
